Sunday Services

Due to Coronavirus, all of our regular Services of Worship, and weekday meetings for all ages,  were suspended in March 2020. We began cautiously worshipping in person once again for Pentecost Sunday in May 2021. In December 2021, we are still meeting together each Sunday, with Covid precautions of mask wearing, hand sanitising and social distancing. Sadly we cannot enjoy Tea/Coffee together after our service, and are encouraged to leave promptly. The way we receive Communion has been adapted, as have the presentation of our weekly offerings. Our mid-week meetings have not recommenced. We are Live-Streaming our services for those who cannot attend in person (see below).

You can join us for Circuit Worship online at  www.YouTube.com/ColchesterMethodists

CD’s and DVD’s of the online services are prepared each week for anyone who does not have access to online material. If you know of someone who would benefit from these please contact us using this form, or email office@castlemethodistchurch.org.uk

For more details, please see our Worship & Notices each week.

If you are looking for our Live-Streamed Services, they are now available on Castle’s YouTube Channel here.
To join future services live from home, please Subscribe to that channel (and click the Notification Bell icon) to be notified when this service is about to go live. Contact someone from our technical team if you need more help.

Before Covid, we had…..

10:30 am each Sunday Morning.
There is a Crèche and Junior Church available.

6:30 pm
During 2019, our Sunday Evening services were suspended. We used to enjoy sharing regular Evening Worship at 6.30pm at Castle with the Town Centre Parish Church of St Botolph’s. We now (2021) share a 5th Sunday morning service together as advertised.

Thursdays

This is a Communion Service led by an ordained Minister. All are welcome.
