Rev Martin Camroux, a retired minister living in Colchester, led our morning service.
Martin showed the children a Roman coin from the reign of Emperor Crispus and talked about the Emperor’s connections to Colchester.
Martin later spoke to the adults under the sermon Good Names For A Church looking at the lives and activities of the Good Samaritan, Jeremiah and also of Isaac.
The Good Samaritan – Loving is what matters above everything else.
Jeremiah – Social and personal religion.
Isaac – Laughter under the knife.
