Carol Service and Christmas 2021 (Updated 23 12 2021)

Carol Service

Due to the new Omicron Covid variant, the church leadership team have decided that it is irresponsible to have two in-person services on Sunday 19th December 2021.

Consequently, our Carol Service has been moved to 10.30am on Sunday 19th December 2021, rather than 6.30pm as previously arranged.  This will clearly not be a Carols by Candlelight as we have been used to. However, it will take a similar format of carols and readings – some very familiar, some new, and Rev Alan Jenkins will bring a short Christmas message. It will not be a ‘nine lessons and carols’, as that is too much when singing behind a mask! Everyone (unless exempt) will be asked to wear a mask at all times when in the building.  The service will be Live-Streamed in the usual way for anyone unable or unwilling to attend in person.

News from St Botolph’s

We have also been sent the December Newsletter from our friends at St. Botolph’s. It includes information about their Christmas Services. There was some additional information about various church members which has been removed for privacy.

Those who have already opened their gifts will have the opportunity to share with us what exactly they have received, so if you can, bring something along to present on screen.  For a Zoom link, please send an email to  thearkhighwoods@gmail.com
