Sunday 10 03 2019

Sunday 10th March 2019.

First Sunday in Lent.

To lead our Morning Family & Parade Service we welcomed Methodist Supernumerary Minister Rev Jane Cassidy from Suffolk.

Unwrapping Chocolate

Jane spoke to us about the price of chocolate, and those who grow the cocoa beans to make it. She illustrated this by carefully breaking up a bar of chocolate. She also spoke briefly about Fair Trade in general,  and we watched a video about Chocolate from the Fair Trade Foundation. This has been included within the video of her Sermon which can be heard here. Jane also spoke to the Children by reading the book “No Matter What” by Debbie Gliori.
