CASTLE METHODIST CHURCH BOOKSTALL
The shelves in the vestibule contain books that are for sale.
Books are obtained at approximately three weekly intervals on a sale or return basis from
St Andrew’s Bookshop in Osborne Street. Consequently, there is a frequent change of titles. Books are chosen to appeal to a wide age range and often reflect the Christian calendar. New titles and popular authors are included.
Anybody wishing to purchase a book, should place payment and the slip from inside the cover of the book in an envelope provided. This can then be handed to a steward or to John, our warden.
The titles of books available today on the bookstall can be seen here,
current list of books for sale.
Anybody with suggestions as to new or additional titles that might be displayed or any requests to purchase a particular Christian book can be dealt with by completing a small form and handing it to a steward or John. Requests will be dealt with as soon as possible.
Click here to find St Andrew’s Bookshop website, they also publish a magazine, details of which may be found on the website, together with information about their stock.
The Church Library
A small library located in the lounge of the church holds books on a variety of religious subjects, including prayer and meditation, Christian belief, the Bible and biographies.
There are also children's books and video tapes.
People attending for coffee mornings on Wednesdays and Saturdays are encouraged to look through the library as is anybody else attending the Church for any other reason.
